Actor Kichcha Sudeep declined the Karnataka State Award for Best Actor for his role in 'Pailwaan', stating he stopped accepting awards years ago for personal reasons. He wanted the award to go to someone who would appreciate it more and expressed his dedication to entertaining people without the expectation of awards. The award was for his performance in the 2019 sports drama 'Pailwaan'.
