💨 Abstract

The Kerala High Court has dismissed the anticipatory bail application of actor Siddique, who is under investigation for sexual assault. The case was filed by a woman actor and is part of a surge of sexual misconduct allegations in the Malayalam film industry. The allegations have led to a "Me Too" movement and the resignation of Siddique from his position as general secretary of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA).
