💨 Abstract
Peter Yarrow, a significant member of the popular and influential folk group Peter, Paul and Mary, has passed away at the age of 86. The trio, which popularized folk music in the 1960s with hits like 'Blowin' in the Wind' and 'If I Had a Hammer', was a leading light of the Greenwich Village folk scene. Yarrow had been battling cancer for four years.
