💨 Abstract
Sixteen Indian hospitals, led by AIIMS Delhi, have commenced a trial of a new device designed to treat Indian acute ischemic stroke patients, one of the leading causes of death and disability in the country. The GRASSROOT trial, using a stent-retriever from US-based Gravity Medical Technology, aims to provide fast, safe, and complete blood flow restoration to the brain.
