đź’¨ Abstract
Researchers in North Carolina have developed a technique to encapsulate beneficial bacteria that can promote plant growth and protect them from pests and infections. The technique uses a custom-made emulsion, stabilizing the bacteria, allowing them to be used in conjunction with agrochemicals. The emulsion was tested with the bacteria Pseudomonas simiae and Azospirillum brasilense, which act as biopesticides and biofertilizers.
