The tag of being India's 1st ever 'indigenous' MRI machine has 2 contenders. There is no true winner
💨 Abstract
India claims to have two indigenous magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines, one developed by Voxelgrids Innovations and the other by SAMEER. The Voxelgrids MRI, launched in August 2023, has secured CDSCO approval and has been installed at the Tata Cancer Foundation. SAMEER's MRI is still undergoing technical validation and is set to be deployed at AIIMS Delhi in October.
