💨 Abstract
11 prisoners under trial for serious offenses including murder, extortion, and terrorism-related charges were handed over to Kuki groups in Manipur in exchange for two Meitei men. The prisoners, who were granted bail between July and September, had been kept in an Imphal prison for safety reasons. Police facilitated their transit to their homes, but were not involved in the exchange.
