💨 Abstract
In November, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) identified 41 drug samples tested in central drug laboratories as 'not of standard quality' (NSQ). Additionally, 70 samples tested by state drugs testing laboratories were also found NSQ. Two spurious drug samples were detected, produced by unauthorized manufacturers using brand names of other companies. Regular action is taken to identify and remove such drugs from the market in collaboration with state regulators.
