💨 Abstract
In Chhattisgarh's Gariaband district, at least 12 Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces on January 21. The operation, launched based on intelligence about Maoist presence, involved a joint team of security personnel from Chhattisgarh and Odisha. Two women Naxalites and a CoBRA jawan were injured in the initial encounter on January 19.
