💨 Abstract

Police in Maharashtra's Thane district arrested the main suspect in the kidnapping and murder of a 12-year-old girl. The "third wife" of the main suspect and another person were also arrested in connection with the crime. Protests demanding action were held by locals. The girl was kidnapped on Monday and her body was found on Tuesday. The motive for the murder is unclear, but rape is suspected.
