In Gurugram, India, a team of doctors led by Dr Vikas Dua successfully treated a 14-month-old Kenyan baby suffering from the extremely rare Pearson Syndrome. The infant, named Arianna, underwent a stem cell transplant with a planned chemotherapy regimen, marking the first such treatment in India.
