Sixteen out of the 27 districts in Arunachal Pradesh have been declared malaria-free. The achievement was celebrated on World Malaria Day 2025. Health Services deputy director Dr KT Mulung praised the efforts of health workers, volunteers, and staff. The department aims to make the entire state malaria-free by 2027.
