💨 Abstract

The 16th Finance Commission, led by Arvind Panagariya, is scheduled to visit Tripura from January 29 to February 1. The team will meet with government officials, political parties, and local urban bodies to discuss Tripura's financial needs and priorities for the next five years. The commission will examine the state's non-plan expenditure requirements starting from April 1, 2026.
