At the UN climate conference in Baku, Azerbaijan, over 1,750 fossil fuel lobbyists have been granted access, outnumbering many country delegations. Azerbaijan, a major oil and gas supplier, is hosting the talks while promoting fossil fuels and not mentioning the Paris Agreement in related speeches. This has sparked concerns about the influence of the fossil fuel industry on climate policy discussions.
