In response to the Pahalgam terror attack, 191 Pakistani nationals visiting India were given a 48-hour deadline to leave the country. A total of 287 Indian nationals also returned from Pakistan. Women with Indian passports who were married in Pakistan reported facing difficulties in returning home, despite having the necessary documents. They had come to India to meet relatives but were forced to return due to the deadline.
