National Conference president Farooq Abdullah has stated that the primary focus of the new government in Jammu and Kashmir will be to unite the Union Territory's regions and eliminate the hatred instigated during the recent elections. He also emphasized that the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir's statehood is on the new government's agenda. The NC-Congress alliance has claimed a majority in the polls and is expected to form the government.
