A 22-year-old woman was critically injured by a bomb strike in Manipur's Imphal West district on September 2. The incident followed an alleged drone bomb attack on Koutruk a day earlier, marking a violent escalation in the region. The woman sustained severe abdominal injuries and had to undergo surgery. The use of loitering munitions and advanced weaponry indicates a more dangerous phase in the ongoing conflict.
