Two wild elephants have separated from their herd and caused significant damage to crops in the Mala range of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, Uttar Pradesh. The elephants trampled over hundreds of acres of wheat and sugarcane crops in Sirsa, Sardah, and Goyal Colony. The forest department is monitoring the situation, and villagers have been asked to stay alert. The damage to farmers is currently being assessed.
