Uttarakhand Police has arrested two wildlife smugglers, Kalam Singh Chauhan and Santu, residents of Chakrata, for possessing bear bile. The arrest was made based on a tip-off from the Wildlife Crime Control Bureau in Delhi. The duo was found with bile from two bears and three 12 bore cartridges. They have been charged under the Wildlife Protection Act and Arms Act.
