A 24-year-old Army jawan, M. Murali Naik from Andhra Pradesh, was killed during a ceasefire violation on the Line of Control (LoC). Naik, who joined as an Agniveer in 2022, was from Kalli Thanda village and had been living in Mumbai with his family. He was injured in cross-border firing and died in the early hours of Friday.
