Since January 1, 2025, 262 people have died due to natural disasters and road accidents in Himachal Pradesh. In April alone, 38 deaths have been reported. Currently, 43 roads including two national highways are closed for traffic, and 220 transformers and 30 water supply schemes are disrupted.
