💨 Abstract
In Maharashtra's Marathwada region, unseasonal rains in May have caused significant damage. Twenty-seven people have died due to lightning strikes, floods, and other rain-related incidents. The region experienced 116% more rainfall than usual, affecting crops on 4,218.54 hectares across 597 villages. Jalna district saw the most damage, with 1,925.76 hectares affected.
