💨 Abstract

Thirty-nine sub-districts, named 'Xama-zilla', will commence operations in Assam, India, from October 4, as part of an initiative to boost administrative efficiency. Each sub-district will have an assistant district commissioner and two assistant commissioners, along with other officials. The move aims to enhance synergy, productivity, and efficiency at the grassroots level for improved citizen-centric administration.
