💨 Abstract
In the first elections held for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly as a Union Territory, 51 out of 90 members are first-time MLAs. The National Conference has the highest number of debutant MLAs at 24, followed by the Bharatiya Janata Party with 15. The People's Democratic Party, Aam Aadmi Party, Congress, and Independent candidates also have first-time MLAs.
