A 64-year-old man, who was bedridden for six months due to a 3-kg cancerous tumor in his leg and had been advised amputation elsewhere, is now walking after a successful seven-hour surgery at a private hospital. The tumor, a stage-2 soft tissue cancer – Liposarcoma, was removed at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre.
