In Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh district, seven women were arrested for allegedly attacking police personnel who were serving a notice over election rivalry complaints. The incident occurred when police visited a house to serve a notice, resulting in a violent attack by the women, who used bricks and stones. The police registered a case against eight women and several unknown persons under relevant sections. The arrested women were sent to jail following their arrest.
