💨 Abstract
India's first Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor, known as the Namo Bharat corridor, is nearly complete. The 82-kilometer high-speed rail line, connecting Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan to Modipuram in Meerut, is expected to reduce travel time to 45 minutes by the end of June. Currently, 55 kilometers of the corridor is operational, and trials are underway for the remaining stretches.
