AAIB issues initial report on AI plane crash; says no recommended action for 787-8 operators for now

The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) released a preliminary report on the fatal Air India plane crash that occurred on June 12. The Boeing 787-8, carrying 242 people, crashed about 30 seconds after takeoff from Ahmedabad, with 260 fatalities. Engine fuel control switches turned off shortly after lift-off.
