Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tributes to tribal icon Birsa Munda on his birth anniversary and congratulated the people of Jharkhand on their state's foundation day. Munda, who was born in 1875 and died at 25, was a revolutionary who challenged British rule and mobilized tribals against the empire.
