💨 Abstract

ASHA workers in Kerala have been protesting for over two months, demanding an increase in their wages from Rs 7,000 to Rs 21,000 and a post-retirement benefit of Rs 5 lakh. They allege that the state government unilaterally withdrew from negotiations and a proposed committee to address their demands has not been set up. The protestors are vowing to continue their agitation until their demands are met.
