The Telangana government aims to develop Hyderabad as a global manufacturing hub, referred to as the "China plus alternative". This will be achieved by promoting industries between the Outer Ring Road and the proposed Regional Ring Road. The state government also plans to build a 'Future City' that aims to be a pollution-free net zero city.
