An Indian Air Force civil engineer, SN Mishra (51), was shot dead at his official residence in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The unknown assailant shot Mishra from a window while he was sleeping. Mishra was taken to the Army hospital but died from his injuries. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and a case will be registered following a complaint from the family.
