Union Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat stated that the number of attendees at the Maha Kumbh is greater than the combined tourism of the entire world. He also highlighted the economic impact of religious tourism in India, citing examples of tourist numbers at religious destinations. Shekhawat mentioned that 45 crore people are participating in the Maha Kumbh, and 15-20 lakh international visitors are expected.
