💨 Abstract

The Supreme Court has directed the Allahabad High Court to redact the name of the complainant mother in a rape attempt case, following controversial observations made by the high court on March 17. The top court had earlier stayed the high court order, which stated that grabbing breasts and pulling a woman's pyjama drawstring does not amount to attempt to rape.
