The former Samajwadi Party MLA Irfan Solanki's bail plea hearing will continue at the Allahabad High Court on Friday, over a seven-year jail sentence for setting fire to a woman's house in Prayagraj. The Uttar Pradesh government has filed an appeal for sentence enhancement, while Solanki has also filed an application for bail and a stay on the sentence, pending the appeal.
