💨 Abstract

Thane police seized over 5kg of ambergris, a waxy substance from sperm whales used in perfumery, worth approximately Rs 6.20 crore from a car in Dombivli township. The three occupants of the car, residents of Navi Mumbai, were arrested, along with goods and mobile phones. The seizure was made following an input, and an FIR was registered under the Wildlife Protection Act.
