💨 Abstract
The Pune Municipal Corporation has sealed 19 private RO water plants in Nanded village, the epicenter of a Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) outbreak, due to unfit drinking water. Four new cases of suspected GBS were reported, increasing the Maharashtra total to 170. The plants, which supplied bottled water to many, were found to contain Escherichia coli bacteria.
