On January 8th, the Indian Army rescued eight civilians who had been involved in a road accident in Manipur's Kangpokpi district. The accident occurred near Khunku Naga village in Leimakhong area on Monday. After receiving information about the incident, a rescue team was immediately dispatched to the site. The injured civilians were then evacuated to a military hospital, where they received first-aid and trauma care from army doctors.
