💨 Abstract

A special CBI court in Kolkata has sent Sandip Ghosh, former principal of R G Kar Medical College, and Abhijit Mondal, a suspended police officer, to 14-day judicial custody in relation to the rape and murder of an on-duty woman medic at the hospital. Another doctor, Ashish Pandey, was sent to three-day CBI custody for alleged financial irregularities and running a sex racket at the hospital.
