A retired Army man was arrested following a Diwali dispute in Rae Bareli's Dalmau area that escalated into violence involving multiple family members and police. The man claimed he was assaulted by the police. Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav condemned the treatment of the soldier and demanded action from the UP government. The incident occurred at the Ghuraura police outpost, where two groups clashed over an undisclosed disagreement.
