The Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has suspended bus services to Punjab on 10 routes following attacks and vandalization of its buses by radical groups. The attacks were in retaliation for HRTC staff stopping Sikh pilgrims from carrying flags bearing pictures of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, a slain Sikh separatist.
