BJP's youth wing in Assam staged a protest outside the state Congress headquarters over Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge's alleged objection to a semiconductor plant in the northeastern state. Kharge had criticized the setting up of semiconductor units in Gujarat and Assam, stating they lack the necessary ecosystem and skills.
