💨 Abstract

By-elections are being held in five Assam assembly constituencies: Dholai (SC), Sidli (ST), Bongaigaon, Behali, and Samaguri, vacated by representatives who won the recent Lok Sabha elections. In the first six hours, approximately 49.76% of the 9,09,057 electors, including women and third-gender voters, cast their votes.
