💨 Abstract
Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya praised Assam Police for ensuring law and order and evolving to tackle new-age crimes on Assam Police Day. He highlighted the force's role in dealing with ethnic riots, refugee issues, infiltration, and militancy, with many personnel sacrificing their lives in the line of duty. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also expressed gratitude for the police force's contributions.
