Twelve passengers died and six were injured when they jumped off a train in panic due to a reported fire incident near Jalgaon, North Maharashtra. The passengers were then run over by another train on adjacent tracks. The accident occurred on the 12533 Lucknow-Mumbai Pushpak Express, which had stopped due to someone pulling the emergency chain. The deceased and injured passengers were taken to a nearby hospital.
