💨 Abstract

At least 14 people died and six were hospitalized in five villages of Punjab’s Amritsar after consuming spurious liquor. The incident led to the arrest of five individuals, including Prabhjit Singh, identified as the main accused. Authorities, including Amritsar Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney and Senior Superintendent of Police Maninder Singh, responded to the situation. A case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Excise Act.
