💨 Abstract

Former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, a popular figure in Bollywood circles and known for supplying life-saving medicines during the Covid pandemic, was shot dead in Mumbai. Siddique, a prominent Muslim leader and three-time MLA, was also known for his grand Iftar parties. He had switched from Congress to NCP, with his joining boosting the latter ahead of Lok Sabha elections.
