💨 Abstract
Akshay Shinde, accused in a sexual assault case, died in an alleged shootout during police custody. Inspector Sanjay Shinde claimed that Akshay grabbed a pistol inside a police van and threatened to kill everyone. Inspector Shinde shot and killed Akshay in self-defense as Akshay's behavior indicated he would kill everyone. Mumbra police registered a case of attempt to murder against Akshay for opening fire on a police officer.
