💨 Abstract

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma described the Balochistan movement in Pakistan as a symbol of indigenous people's struggle for freedom, dignity, and self-determination. The movement originated in 1947-1948 when the princely state of Kalat sought autonomy but was forcibly annexed by Pakistan.
