💨 Abstract
NCP leader Supriya Sule has called for sensitivity from the Maharashtra government regarding the murder of sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh in Beed. Deshmukh was allegedly killed in retaliation for his efforts to prevent extortion against an energy firm linked to a windmill project. Seven people have been arrested in connection with the case, including an aide of Minister Dhananjay Munde, who is being demanded to resign.
